BENTSAI publishes manufacturer-level customisation capabilities for thermal inkjet (TIJ) print engines. A print engine project may involve a printhead, cartridge, control electronics, software, communication interfaces, sensors, mounting requirements and integration with a customer’s equipment.

What this capability means

According to BENTSAI’s official customisation information, the manufacturer can evaluate specialised printers, embedded print modules and printing systems. This does not mean that every requested specification is immediately available or that PTS manufactures customised engines locally.

Information needed for an initial review

• Target machine, industry and intended use
• Required print content, height, resolution and operating speed
• Substrate, ink and environmental requirements
• Mechanical space, mounting and power limitations
• Sensor, encoder, communication and software interfaces
• Estimated project quantity and development schedule
• Required testing, documentation or certifications

The customer should provide a written requirement specification and representative samples. Any values shown in a reference table are examples for discussion, not a promise that the same configuration will be supplied for every project.

Project qualification

Technical feasibility, development scope, prototype arrangements, intellectual-property terms, tooling, minimum order quantity (MOQ), pricing, documentation, testing and lead time must be reviewed and agreed case by case with BENTSAI. Final performance is subject to the approved design and validation plan.

Role of PTS in Malaysia

PTS Technology can collect the initial application information from customers in Malaysia and coordinate an enquiry with BENTSAI. PTS does not represent an unapproved custom configuration as a standard product and cannot confirm feasibility before manufacturer review.
