BENTSAI publishes manufacturer-level capabilities in the research, design and production of thermal inkjet (TIJ) printheads using microfluidic MEMS technology. A custom printhead project is an engineering programme rather than a standard printer accessory order.

Possible project areas

According to BENTSAI’s official information, a project may evaluate printhead architecture, nozzle arrangement, electrical characteristics, cartridge integration, ink behaviour and the intended printing system. The exact scope depends on technical feasibility and the customer’s written requirements.

What the customer should prepare

• Intended printer or industrial application
• Required print width, resolution, drop behaviour and operating duty
• Ink type, substrate and environmental exposure
• Electrical drive and mechanical integration information
• Expected annual quantity and development schedule
• Test standards, documentation and acceptance criteria

What must be confirmed case by case

Printhead life, print quality, compatibility, ink performance and production yield cannot be guaranteed from a general web description. Technical feasibility, prototype plan, tooling, intellectual-property terms, minimum order quantity (MOQ), pricing, testing, certifications or supporting documents and lead time must be agreed with BENTSAI for the specific project.

Role of PTS in Malaysia

PTS Technology can collect initial requirements from customers in Malaysia and coordinate an enquiry with BENTSAI. PTS does not manufacture custom printheads locally and cannot approve a proposed design before the manufacturer’s technical review.
